Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca Airport » Transfer to the hotel

    Today upon your arrival, we'll warmly greet you and take you to your hotel. If you're up for it, we can check out the Hassan II Mosque, which happens to be the largest mosque in Africa and experience the coastal Cornish seaside. Alternatively, we can leave the visit for the next morning, depending on when you arrive and how tired you feel. Rest well in Casablanca tonight!

  • Day 2: Casablanca » Rabat » Meknes[239Km]

    After breakfast, we'll head to Meknes, making a stop at Rabat, which is the current capital of Morocco. There, we'll check out the Oudaya Kasbah, Hassan Tower, and the King's Tombs. Then, we will go ahead to explore some historical sites like Chellah, a charming spot blending Roman and Merinid remains. We'll then continue our journey via the highway to reach Meknes, known as the Ismaili Capital. We'll stay overnight in Meknes.

  • Day 3: Meknes visit [Sightseeing Guided Day Tour]

    After breakfast, a local guide will accompany you on a tour of the city, showcasing and explaining its historical landmarks like Bab Mansour, Qara Prison, Swani Basin, and more! The afternoon is yours to freely explore Lahdim Square and experience the Moroccan way of life more intimately. We'll spend the night in Meknes.

  • Day 4: Meknes » Volubilis » Fes[96Km]

    After breakfast and getting a sense of Moroccan life, we'll head to Fes. Along the way, we'll stop to explore the ancient Roman ruins, a piece of the earliest Roman Empire territory. In the afternoon, it's essential to visit one of Morocco's renowned cities, offering a chance to see historical landmarks and the old Medina with its charming narrow streets. We'll stay overnight in Fes.

  • Day 5: Fes » Ifrane » Azrou » Ziz Valley » Merzouga Desert[476Km]

    After breakfast at your riad before heading southeast to Merzouga, tracing the historic Caravan roads. Along the way, catch glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. Make a stop at the Cedar forest, the biggest one in Morocco, nestled in the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you might spot Barbarian apes. Following a satisfying lunch in Midelt, continue through the vast open high desert, witnessing the gradual transition of scenery as you approach Errachidia.

    As you travel, take in the sights of the luxuriant Ziz Valley and the Tafilalet date palm grove, renowned for date cultivation and the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty, the current ruling royal family in Morocco. Your journey concludes in Merzouga by late afternoon, where a warm welcome with a glass of mint tea awaits before you settle into your riad.

  • Day 6: Visit of Merzouga and Camel trekking experience

    After having breakfast at the riad, set out on an exploration of the Sahara desert area. Visit the Gnawa people, originally brought from Sudan as slaves, to get a feel for their music and way of life. We'll also pass by nomad settlements and learn about their way of life. Our next stop will be at a viewpoint to see the whole Erg Chebbi. Then, you might also want to check out the souk in Rissani, a traditional town that played a significant role in Morocco's ruling family and served as a meeting point for caravans trading as far as Timbouctou in Mali. In Rissani, you'll encounter many men wearing hoods and women with veils.

    Return to the village of Merzouga for some relaxation. In the afternoon, hop on a camel guided by an experienced camel man to explore the sand sea of Merzouga. Your overnight stay will be at our desert camp, complete with dinner. For your convenience, the camp is equipped with western bathrooms.

  • Day 7: Merzouga Desert » Rissani » Todra Gorges » Dades Gorges » Ouarzazate[269Km]

    After freshening up, we'll head to the Hollywood of Africa, the city where they make famous movies. Our journey includes a visit to Rissani's well-known markets, the town where the Alouist dynasty began ruling Morocco and continues to do so. Before reaching Ouarzazate, we'll stop to explore the Todra Gorges with their unique rock formations, and then we'll proceed through Rose Valley. We'll spend the night in Ouarzazate.

  • Day 8: Ouarzazate » Taznakht » Talioune » Taroudant[275Km]

    After breakfast, we'll head to the Berber city of Taroudant, known for its intriguing name and numerous stories. On our journey, we'll stop by the well-known small town of Taznakht, famous for crafting Berber Carpets. Then, we'll continue to Talioune, where saffron is as precious as gold in the region. We'll spend the night in Taroudant.

  • Day 9: Taroudant » Tafraout[150Km]

    As you drive from Taroudant to Tafraout through the Anti-Atlas Mountains, the views are incredibly beautiful and definitely worth a visit just for the mountain scenery. Tafraout is a gorgeous oasis surrounded by uniquely shaped natural rock formations. We'll spend the night in Tafraout.

  • Day 10: Tafraout Visit [Sightseeing Guided Day Tour]

    There are lots of interesting things to explore in Tafraout, from visiting Argan Oil co-operatives to learning about how Berber carpets are made. The nearby villages are also worth checking out. We'll spend the night in Tafraout.

  • Day 11: Tafraout » Agadir[166Km]

    Our trip continues to Agadir, a city whose name translates to "The Wall" in the local Berber language. This city has a lot to offer, and as you travel, you'll have the opportunity to witness enchanting landscapes, perfect for capturing memorable photos. We'll spend the night in Agadir.

  • Day 12: Agadir » Essaouira[176Km]

    After breakfast, we'll head to the enchanting city of Essaouira, also known as Mogador during the Portuguese colonization. The town is infused with the rhythmic beats of Gnawa Music, creating a captivating atmosphere. With its clean and white streets, the old Medina of Essaouira is a must-visit, offering a unique charm and vibrant local culture. We'll spend the night in Essaouira, known for its picturesque coastal views, historic ramparts, and artisan shops offering local crafts.

  • Day 13: Essaouira » Marrakech[191Km]

    After breakfast, we'll journey to the renowned city of Marrakech via Chichawa, stopping by the famous Argan Oil co-operative in the area. If you're fortunate, you might capture a humorous and peculiar sight of goats climbing the Argan trees.
